This month, Asier, the America Area Manager of Sagola, has visited the great Colombian airbrush artist Rafael Fonseca. It does not matter if the support is a deposit, a guitar or a canvas, after many hours of work, it always surprises with a wonderful work. Asier enjoyed the visit to Rafa Fonseca´s workshop and his airbrush school where he could see the brilliant portraits of artists and spectacular images of animals created with the Sagola Xtech range of airbrushes. Many thanks to Rafa for his warm welcome to Asier and for the confidence placed in Sagola.

Axalta Coating Systems, Sagola official distributor in Australia, exhibited at Autocare 2018 held on the 4th and 5th of May at Darling Harbour`s International Convention Centre in Sydney.

A large range of Sagola product were on display, however the stand was focus on two new Sagola spray guns; 3300 GTO CAR and the 4100 Xtreme suction gun, to meet high output application demands of the commercial and industrial segments.

It was a very successful event, where Axalta team provided advice and recommendations for Sagola spray gun use and visitors had the opportunity to win a limited edition 4600Scrambler. Thank you Axalta Australia for your high commitment to our brand and the great work done.

From now on, trainees joining courses in General Paint training center in Palencia, will be able to use the newest products from the Sagola refinish range.

The visit of the technical-commercial team of Sagola to the training center on May 29, was the start point for an agreement to equip its modern facilities with 4600 Xtremespray guns both for waterborne products and clearcoats, 3300 GTO for top range primers application and Mini Xtreme among other products.

Likewise, the technical departments of both companies are already working together in the development of an application guide, that will be very useful for customers we internationally share.

Last 24 and 25 of May, we have received in Sagola the visit of the commercial team of our distributor Roberlo Portugal. An extraordinary team of professionals who came not only to visit the facilities but also to know the range of products and the Sagola team as well.

The beginning of the visit took place in Sagola manufacturing facilities and warehouse and then they continued in the training center with a presentation of the range of products for refinishing. It was a great chance to talk about the new products that was welcomed with great enthusiasm.

We were happy to welcome David Gatta in Sagola. He is an artist from Barbastro (Huesca), who has used lots of car hoods as a canvas for airbrushing. Regular user of Sagola airbrushes, last May 17 he visited us to know our facilities and understand the way we work.

The tour began with the manufacturing, quality and warehouse facilities and ended at the showroom, where the different spray gun models are shown as main protagonist of Sagola's history.

We share with David the latest news for the Xtech range and knew his next project of aerography courses for which we wish him all the best.

Last months were held the spanish regional editions of Automotive Refinishing Worldskills as a first step to reach the next 2019 WorldSkills.  The regional winner of each category will have the chance to compete in the SpainSkills (Madrid 2019) and win their place to represent Spain in the 45^th World Skills competition in Kazan, Russia.

These championships will gather students to promote training and professional skills. This kind of events also provides a unique chance to network with the industry and educational experts.Sagola, as a company aware of the support needed by future professionals in the automotive refinishing sector, has sponsored these events.

Sagola has cooperated in the CatSkills 2018 held on May 9 at the Caparrella Institute in Lleida. Adrià Sanahuja from the Caparrella Institute won the Car Painting category and Gabriel Son from the Technical School Girona did the same for the Bodywork category.

The Andalucía Skills 2018were held in April at the El Carmen campus of the University of Huelva and honored with the visit of a special guest, Queen Letizia who was interested in the different professional careers in which the students tested their skills and abilities.

The Andalucía Skills 2018 gold medal in Car Painting was won by Alvaro Velasco of the San Jose de la Rinconada Institute in Seville.

Congratulations to the winners for their talent and skill and good luck for the following stages of this competition.

Last May the 8^th, Sagola welcomed the visit of some executives from BS (Bemal Systme), the paint manufacturer, in order to show them our most important products and to set an agreement for technical cooperation.

Bemal Systeme has a wide range of products for automotive refinishing such as fillers, primers, clearcoats or waterborne basecoats, all of them made in BS facilities in Mengibar, Jaen.

This was the beginning of an alliance between BS and Sagola that will surely be very positive for both companies.

Last May 4 Sagola held a training course about refinishing products for La Madrileña-Perchan in the distributor´s  facilities in Huelva.

The course was attended by the sales manager, the store manager and the sales team of La Madrleña –Perchan  in Huelva  and  was taught by David Cabeza, Sagola Sales Area Manager.

It was a very useful course about the main characteristics of new spray guns  3300 GTO, Classic Pro XD and Classic Lux and a guide to identify the different nozzles for the 4600 Xtreme and its applications. There was also time to talk about  the air filter systems Sagola 5000 and 4000 and the new air quality tester  for an effective detection of alterations in the air.

The national sales team and the technical department of Sagola have developed during this month a great variety of training actions for our distributors and customers in Spain. These training sessions are divided into both theoretical and practical content focus on a correct choice, adjustment and maintenance of the most suitable equipment for main applications in bodyshop, industry and wood sectors.

For the bodyshop sector, it has been carried out a training course and product presentation for Fondomovil team in Arganda del Rey and Vallesanauto in Sabadell, showing them the latest products in 2018 catalogue.

In the industrial sector a course was organized for Maranges in Cerdanyola del Valles and in Sagola training center it was held a specific course for the wood sector with Argandeña from Arganda del Rey and Representaciones Suarez from Vigo.
